Amazing gay only men hotel. Chilled, relaxed. Is it like being in a tree house. Amazing atmosphere and many places nearby to eat. In the middle of the Aldea Zama jungle
My husband and I had a great time in Loba Tulum, at first we had our doubts about this place, but we took the risk and stay there for 3 night and we don't regret it, the place is very nice, male only and also clothing is optional so, my husband and I felt so free walking around it. It was little bit hard to find it at first but Gustavo is very helpful with instruction and recommendations, he gave us the tips and tricks around the area for gay people. we are going back for sure.

I stayed for 8 nights in late November and Raul was a welcoming host. He really went out of his way to make me feel comfortable and show me around. Jorge made a delightful breakfast every morning and was also very hospitable. I had some challenges with the room key but eventually I figured it out. It was very quiet at night and no problem sleeping. The best part of my stay was the hospitality that I received from both Raul and Jorge.
First visit to tulum and stayed here with a few friends. Loved the community feel of the place. Big rooms and comfortable beds. Great ac. Good Wi-Fi was able to work remotely. Gustavo and Bruno were gracious hosts! All the guests were very friendly. Enjoyed the location on the pedestrian way. Was challenging to get to at first, but once I got the lay of the land it worked well. Plenty of cafes in the area to walk to. Would suggest renting a car or scooter to get beyond the neighborhood. There’s free parking in the area. Note that tulum is working on infrastructure so power does occasionally go out in different neighborhoods. Water pumps are electric. Property is close to the beach but not in the hotel zone. Great spot between beach and Centro. Easy access to explore all the different areas of tulum. Will return!
Stayed here last week and it’s been one of the best experiences of stays in a hotel. The hotel gives such a cool secluded treehouse vibes. Very relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great location that’s close enough to the city center but still far enough from the noise. Lots of restaurants nearby, as well as a pharmacy for all your needs. There is also a bike rental place around the corner that will give you a discounted rate for staying at Loba. (Bike riding in Tulum turned out to be a highlight for me.) The rooms are very spacious with lots of storage and a nice wardrobe, bed is huge and comfortable, and the bathroom is a good size. Rooftop pools is where I spent most of my time. 2 pools, so you can hang at one and get tons of uninterrupted sun, or go to the other side and stay in the shade. Great place for mingling with the other guests. Gustavo is very personable, kind, and attentive to his guests. He makes a really great breakfast, as well! The bar is welcoming and a great space to meet the other guys staying there and just hang out. Also, Gustavo makes fantastic drinks. Oh, and there is even a cool boutique clothing shop in the front of the hotel with great outfits, swimwear, and accessories if you feel like shopping for some Tulum fashions. 10/10 recommend and already planning my return!
Stayed at LOBA amd absolutely loved it . Owner Whos onsite is very charming and accommodating, the place has fantastic energies and vibes. Rooms are precise and Aldea Zama is surprisingly our favorite spot in Tulum. Will love to come back and stay again
The Aldea Zamá zone is new and not well connected to the central street with the restaurants, nor to the beach road. Taxis are ridiculously expensive, renting a scooter or a bike in advance is recommended. Communication with Gustavo worked fine but we didn't get any excuse when there was no electricity (also affecting the water pump - so no flushing the toilet) or when we got the wrong room category (no balcony but price as if with balcony). But after all it was a quiet, well built, beautiful and sexy retreat in sometimes ugly Tulum.
